J.O.Y.- Jesus Others and Yourself.

There is more happiness in giving as the bible says. However, you still need to take care of yourself.

Some people have that quality and yet that cheerful and make other feel good personality may not be enough to chronically angry and depressed individuals. Personally I think if u are happy yourself, then it will radiate from within u and happiness is always contagious, however, I dont think there's such thing as having the sole purpose of making others happy. Well, unless u are a comedian or a clown.

I believe that Life is bionic in nature.
That is that the principles which make Life possible are logical and consistent in nature.

These are spiritual forces which flow from the heart (the Centre of Motivation), which therefore have to pass though our mind and body to get to the outside World. Anyone who knows anything about magnetism knows that magnetic force influences unmagnetized magnetic material around it, to make it magnetic, or change other magnets around them.

If you repeat a particular mode of behavior, it influences the mind and body to create alteration in mental and physiological function. You do not want your cells to learn to do things that you should not be doing to your neighbours.
Such as stealing from them, beating up on them, cheating them in deals, or killing them.

You may not have to carry out an action to have it affect your mind and body. Science has advanced to the level where the effects of "stress" is recognized as being a cause of pathological conditions. High blood pressure, endocrine malfunction, heart failure, cancer, even.

"Stress" is just a fancy term for "unforgiveness."
Annoying things happen to you, so you have to be annoyed back. I remember a story about some Christian student meeting, where they spent all afternoon squeezing oranges everyone looked forward to refreshing themselves with. A Brother blundered into the tent and kicked the whole lot over.
Realizing this was an opportunity for negativity, the Brother said: "Hallelluyah! I've spilled the orange juice!" and everyone laughingly praised the Lord instead of griping over the lost refreshment!

The Three Laws of Motion apply to physical objects. Did you never notice that the only time when living things keep them precisely is WHEN THEY ARE DEAD. Therefore Jesus said that the SOLE CRITERION of whether or not people attain Everlasting Life or not, is whether or not they fed, watered, clothed, healed, comforted and clothed the needy. [Matt. 25:31-46.]

A person's purpose is probably centered on what they are supposed to do in this life. If it has the side benefit of making other's happy all the better. I think we'd have to consider people's happiness an inadvertant but positive outcome.

It's good to make people happy but I don't think that that should be anyone goal in life. I believe that we should love ourselves and make sure we are happy. I don't think it is a person's purpose to make someone happy.

In my personal philosphy we are not to make others happy, but make ourselves happy. One's happiness is brought by themselves and only themselves. We like to think others make us happy but in reality only you can make yourself happy. For example, I am very goal oriented and I am pursing my career with full force. I also have someone who I love very much and have been in a relationship with for 3 years. If it came down to moving away for my career and my love didn't want to go or asked me not to go, I chose my career. If I don't I would never be truly happy. I may be happy with that person but for how long until I start wondering how different things would be if I went the other route. It may sound mean but its true. Do what makes you happy. Pursue your dreams and goals. People will hold you back. Be in charge of your happiness

Well i guess it could be in a way.I love to help people and animals especially animals ' cats in general; and when i help them in what ever way it may be i feel great about it,I don;t want no thank you;s and oh your the greatest i just do it as the Lord want me to do it; and it;s my own mission to do it,I take care of feral cats which humans have beat them' moved on and left them'; and if i didn;t step in and help they would have a miserable life and death...Now it;s winter and so cold i have made beds in my laundry room outdoors; and now my son is doing the same kind of things,On Friday nights we go give out sandwiches to the homeless or anyone hungry that wants one.we have little money so i can only do a loaf of bread at a time; but anything helps.we have been thru it also..God is so great and as long as he gives me strength to get up and out this will be a life time job of mine....

Of course, and in so many ways e.g entertainers, doctors. Some people are happy if others are happy--what a nice world it would be if we all felt the same way.

no, i don't recommend it because you can't really control other people's feelings - their experience is their own.

your purpose can be to serve others or to serve the situation, but trying to make others happy ends up making you a controlling person and a disappointed person.

try to help or serve others but not to make them feel something. let their feelings happen naturally. trying to control other people's feelings is a recipe for disaster.

Are you referring to the gift of encouragement ? I know several with this wonderful gift. But overall It's all about Jesus and pleasing the Father.
Our main purpose In this life Is to make God happy. That would be through obedience to His word.....Blessings Brother..
