I've always wondered that too. If I suck up a big spider in to the hoover I will usually hoover the rest of the room as well to make sure the spider is well covered in dust. And sometimes i even block the hole up just in case it crawls out. I bet you dont hate them as much as I do. UUUUUUUURRRRGGGG!!!

Obviously many hate spiders or are afraid of them - but I like them & don't sympathise with those who needlessly end their lives! Suggest the spiders you hoover up may die, but suppose it possible if there is a way out, some could find it.
Spiders are harmless and can't help being born with an appearance/legs/movement that put humans off! Why not think of it that they deserve to live their lives without being killed just because they are disliked/look distasteful!
If you have arachnophobia, I understand you need to get them out of sight.anyway, good luck.

I have heard they survive the hoover too. I bought a spider scarer this year and have barely seen any of the giant spiders I normally have to live with all autumn. It cost about £14 and just sits in the plug socket doing something to put them off coming in the house. Seems to be workig :)

Hate to tell you this but spiders can survive the hoover. They won't get out but they will crawl around inside the bag.
Found this out when I got a "bag less" vacuum. YUK!
I hate them too.

They probably choke on the dust and have a very painfull death. It might be like falling out of a plane when "it" gets sucked up the vacuum, INSTANT DEATH!

Use a dyson , then you can enjoy seeing it spin round and round.
