There are several things to think about.

Most manufacturers list weight ranges for each size within a particular model so check those when shopping for a new board. If your height and are proportional, you can follow the general rules of sizing. Normally between your chin and nose, but that is just a general rule if you are height / weight proportional. If you are heavier, get a longer board - if lighter, get a shorter board.

Where do you like to ride? A shorter board will be easier to make quick turns in the park but won't ride as nice at higher speeds out on the runs.

How big are your feet? If you have size 11 or larger, you will probably need a "wide" board - you don't want your toes and heels to drag when turning. If you are right at size 11 like many of us, put your boots on the board and see how far they hang over. You can get bindings with "lifters" built in that lift your boot higher off the board and prevent your boot from touching in most conditions.

Good Luck

The Burton Clash and the Burton Bullet are actually the same boards spec wise apart from the width. The Clash is a regular board and the Bullet is a wide board, so if you have size 11 feet you will need a wide board and the Bullet would be a good choice of board for you. I can't recommend a length acurately for you without knowing your weight. If you email me your weight i can recommend a good length of board for you, Good Luck.

If you are a beginner anywhere from 140-146 is good, if intermediate can go up to 150 or if you're advanced you can go to 153.
