I've found Word's mail merge quite powerful. It can be tricky to setup though. What you should do is ask another question describing your troubles with merge.

(Wonder what didn't work about mail merge? Did you try it, with your work folks, as say, a set of Contacts, in Outlook, with an assigned "category", then Define a View with a Filter specifying that "category" and merging out of that View?)

At any rate, if it's any help, http://www.avery.com offers Word templates for all the various "official" labels, in case you're using some format that's not already in the File--> Print Setup --> stuff you find in Word.

(For our little 100 or so member group we go the mail merge route described above...of course, we have to "sacrifice" mixing them in, with our personal Contacts, but most of them are friends anyway, so it doesn't really matter...)

If its an avery label then you need the number on the package (its usually only a four to 5 digit number) I don't know what that label number is. Also you can create your own dimensions to match your labels with width and height.
