all answers are correct, 3% of 5000 is 150 (sorry my pound sign is not working!)

the easiest way to find out percentages in the future is by dividing the original amount by 100, and the answer you get is 1% of the amount, for example:

5000 divided by 100 = 50 (50 being 1% of 5000)

then you times the 1% by however many percent you need to know - so in your case, 3% --- 3 x 50= 150

or.... if you needed to know 10% --- 10 x 50= 500

I punch 3% of £5000 in my calculator, and i get £150
I input 3% of £5000 in my spreadsheet, and i get £150
So I am sure 3% of £5000 is £150

3 % 0f 5000 = 150
so answer = £150

3% of 1 Million is 30000.
there are 200 5000's in 1 million.
therefore 30000 divided by 200 = 150 Simple!!
