Where can I find large thin sheets of styrofoam. I'm looking to use them for a craft project
Also, what kind of glue works best with styrofoam?

Try a craft store like Roberts or Michaels or JoAnne's. Ask about glue at the craft store. I use it for pinning out stuff, so I don't want glue on it.

Thin Styrofoam Sheets

You can find the styrofoam at any home improvement store (Home Depot, Menards, Lowes, etc). For the smaller sheets, you can get them at Hobby Lobby or Michaels (arts and crafts stores). We found them at Lowes, cut them in half length-wise, then glued them together, (with tacky glue I might add) then rounded the edges with a steak knife and painted them grey. (We made gravestones for Halloween) CAUTION: if you use spray paint on the styrofoam, it disolves it slightly. (Worked for us because we wanted the "weathered" look). I would suggest a tempra or water based acrylic for other projects though. Stay away from heat (No Glue Gun) I hope this helps.

The foam sheets are denser than regular styrofoam, so any kind of glue will work except hot glue. I have used a cold glue gun on mine.
