Absolutely not. One group's faith based belief system should not trump the individual rights of the entire populous.
This is America, not Nazi Germany. Though it seems the religious right wing of the GOP camp would very much prefer a totalitarian fascist government based on elitism, fear, war, and hate.
My views are liberal, but not in line with the joke that liberalism has become in this country.
andy g: No woman in this country has ever been FORCED to have an abortion. It is a personal choice and will remain so.
If you don't like it, then raise your daughers or granddaughters to have some respect for themselves and for what their bodies are capable of creating... what a great privilage and responsibility it is, neither of which should be taken lightly or thier dignity sold cheaply. Then at least you can circumvent the issue on a personal level without stepping on the rest of the country's toes.

I don't allow it but some seem to do that. Look at Jim Jones and the People's Temple for example. Those people were taken in by Jones and believed him. He was charismatic and they fell for it. Hitler was much the same in that he could convince people like no one else could because of his charisma and ability to speak. So, no people should not force their values on others but it happens all the time. Another example is in the colonization of the world. Europeans forced their religion on native people in the Americas and Africa. In the 1300s the Ottoman Empire did a pretty good job of forcing their beliefs on people who valued life more than their belief system. For those willing to give their lives for their beliefs they did just that. Again, while we may not bend to the beliefs of others there are many who will.

You should have your own views. There are people on both sides of the isle that would force their views upon you. Form the tone of your question it is fairly clear to see which one has won. I challenge you to think for your self. Once you do you won’t always agree with either side. You will be more of a moderate and be able to come up with your own conclusions. Some issues I am liberal on , others I am conservative. Don’t be a mindless party drone. By the way the Media (less Fox News) is extremely liberal. And no I don’t think Fox news is fair and balanced. It’s Conservative, but the rest are liberal so who cares.

Nice. How blind is this person? How many liberal, perverted issues are being forced on the rest of us? And you dare ask this?!! Parents have to worry about their kids getting brainwashed by perverts in grade schools teaching about deviant homo’s? Socialist politics want to force me to pay for others instead of having them go get a job.
We have perverts and sicko’s marching in what they call “Pride” parades, and while they are allowed to force that sort of behavior on the general public, those of us that disagree with it can’t do a thing.
Liberals are trying to force anarchy on the world, trying to fight for the right to do anything they want with no conscience or consequence. They have no sight of right or wrong, and couldn’t care less about what they do to the society around them. How can you say it’s the conservatives?

Liberal Democrats are constantly forcing their values on others. Sometimes they do it with legislation and other times they do it with litigation.
Government has the responsibility to represent the people. Sometimes the government makes liberal laws, forcing liberal views upon conservative people. And sometimes it makes conservative laws, forcing conservative views on liberal people.
You don't like it? Then pray for anarchy. No government is the only way to avoid having other people's opinions forced on you.

No nor is it right for the liberals that have hijacked the democratic party to force their beliefs on the populace. Both sides fear debate. Why tell the world what you can do for them when the easier path is to blame your opposition. I can't decide which party is the lesser of the evils.

I would like Andy G to name one incident where a liberal forced him to get an abortion.
and NO, no one should force their beliefs on you.
If the creator bestowed certain rights upon human beings, it is just common sense that they should be extended to everyone that is not condemned of heinous crimes. anything less would be hypocrisy, exactly what terrorists want us to reveal to the world.

They can't force their values on you. However, if they are elected by the majority, they can vote based on their values and pass laws that might not be in line with your personal values. So....make sure you vote.
