I'd probably wear more clothes than I do now. You know, since their body is covered in fur. Fur everywhere! And personally, I don't like fur anywhere on me. So I'd be an outcast in the emu-family, because they'd all be happy and eating and stuff, and I'd be obsessed with the fur covering my body.
...I've never been so thankful for Brazilians as I am now.

I would have to spend a large chunk of my day fighting off the emu oil hunters, since they will want to kill my emu parents for their oil!

For one thing, I'd be a lot meaner. My husband used to be a zookeeper, and he has nothing good to say about them. They have nasty tempers, a lot like ostriches, and I've seen ranchers trying to round them up. They have to find a way to hood them (by slipping a hood over their arm like a glove, grabbing the ostrich's head, and pulling the hood off and over the ostrich's eyes). Otherwise, they'd beat you with their wings.

well the goats did a pretty good job with me, so i'd say emus are competent too.

It would probably be so much better. I wouldn't have to wear clothes and I could just scratch at the ground all day long pecking for insects. . no wait, I already do that?! Ok, forget it.
