Uncyclopedia. Wikipedia.
Are they owned by the same people. I noticed they both are "MediaWiki."
Uncyclopedia is funny, however Wikipedia is informative.
I like uncyclopedia more though because if someone says something that is false it won't matter.

don't think they are, it says who owns uncycopedia - wikia inc. and wikipedia being owned by 2 guys called Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger.
uncycopedia is for people with a sense of humour. wikipedia is written by people for other people, it is informative but it can't always be seen as true, because its just written by a normal person.
uncyclopedia is an hillarious website, bias one, shown from one point of view (one side of the story, whereas other websites write from both sides of the story) the things they write, wow, even reading about my own country, the things they wrote, but they are still funny. if you can't laugh at yourself, you're in serious trouble. that is freedom of speech, if you lose that, then they'll shut that site down.

No. Wikipedia and Uncyclopedia are not owned by the same company or person. They are both powered by the MediaWiki software, which is free to download from [ http://www.mediawiki.org ]

I'd take everything they say with a huge grain of salt because anyone can add to them and you don't know if you're getting accurate information or not. I know I'd never use Wikipedia for a research or term paper, especially as there are better resources with actual proven facts out there.

uncyclopedia is really stupid and the only thing I had ever looked up it was a complete lie and was slightly offensive
