I am 6 months pregnant and have 2 costume parties to go to this weekend. For one, I am supposed to dress up like a Holllywood star---but I can't think of anything that I can do while pregnant. I won't wear anything degrading or evil looking, so please help me think of something that is good-natured that I can pull of pregnant :)

Thanks so much!!!!!

PS: You get the 10 points if you can come up with something for my husband to wear that goes along with my costume and if you can tell me how to make the costumes without spending a lot of money :)

Marilyn Monroe for you with a bottle of booze and pills. And JFK after the gun shoot for the hubby. A added plus would be a portable CD player with Hal to the chief playing.

I can't help on the Hollywood star thing, but I do know that maternity costumes are OUTRAGEOUS! I was 7 1/2 month pregnant on Halloween a few years back and put on one of my husbands tight, white, short sleeved (not tank) undershirts. I had him paint my entire belly up as a pumpkin. I received sooo many compliments on it. Not to mention, I was comfortable. And my daughter that was born 1 1/2 months later to this day holds the nickname "punkin" (she is now 7) I wish I could help more. But sometimes it's just too hard to conform.

here is a few innovations: bo-peep a fairy a marionette doll (with the purple circle cheeks, curled hair, a flouncy gown, extraordinary eyelashes and strings related of direction) a facebook/myspace web site (use cardboard) somebody from a undeniable term 50s,60s,70s,80s(very relaxing!) or from medieval/rennaissance many times common fictional charachter or a fairytale character-Rapunzel, and so on. This one is incredibly cheesy yet one among you're able to string small ceral packing boxes on a bite of rope then stick forks via the packing boxes and positioned on it around your neck (subsequently THE CEREAL Killer)get it?? Yeah which you are going to be to "gay" for you (on account that 13yr olds who do matching costumes are) yet its basically a guideline.

If you're 6 months pregnant, you are probably too young to know who Phyllis Diller is....so look her up with Yahoo images. She is a comedian with a very distinct look...wild white/platinum hair, flashy snug clothes and always a bit of a pot belly. The running gag in her routine is her "husband--Fang". Your husband could dress in almost anything "dated looking" and wear "fangs" or a name tag that says "Phyllis' husband Fang".

haha I just read another pregnant woman going as a Nun. That would be great with your husband being a priest or the pope or something of that part. It would be rather funny as well ^_^ heh...A Pregnany nun....*giggles*
