you have 2 options 1:normally a 40mm or 50mm masonry nail will do the job, you should be able to buy them loose from any hardware store. here's the trick: place the nail where you want it, tap lightly on the head with the hammer to get it to go through the plaster before you hit the actual solid block, then hammer in as normal, but evey 3 hits, bounce the hammer off the head of the nail 3 times in quick succession, this will drive the dust away from the tip of the nail and the nail won't pop or move if you use this method. this applies to a solid wall made from concrete blocks and mortar. if your wall is mass concrete ( ie. a wall made from poured concrete instead of blocks) then a nail may not bite well enough into the concrete. option 2: drill a 5.5mm hole with a masonry bit, put in a 5.5 mm rawlplug and screw a 38mm drywall screw in as far as wou need to , the head of the drywall screw will hold the hanger for the dartboard so it won't fall off the wall. my dartboard had a hanging fixing supplied with it, which you had to screw to the wall, and the dartboard hung on at the centrepoint on the back of the board. yours might have one of these with it, if it's new that is...
