i saw it
love cusack performance and had a great story behind everything.
great movie.
creepy when the crazy man appeared.

Nothing based on a Stephen King work could ever be better than the Shawshank Redemption. :)
I have to admit, I was intrigued by 1408, though. Generally King's works don't translate well to film. I may have to check this one out....

I love Talisman by Stephen King and i'm glad there is no movie for that yet.1408 was pretty good in comparison with most his books turned movies(ex.Salem's lot etc).I liked the movie but i think they overdid it a bit with too many special effects.The story itself is genuinely creepy

I am a big Stephen King Fan.But i have not seen this Film yet.I am German,and it might have a different Name in German,but i am going to Google it now.Thanks.

I thought the short story was a lot creepier, honestly. The movie was just okay - I think they overdid some of it, made it way too long in parts.
