i find it unbelieveable that a singer/actress or even a big brother contestant can make more money than a doctor or even a lawyer...so does the entertainment industry really contain the highest paying jobs?

One profits the most from fame. That isn't saying they make more money. There are other gains to fame than money itself. And there are celebrity doctors and lawyers, too. I don't mean doctors and lawyers of celebrities, I mean doctors and lawyers who are celebrities. Celebrity isn't confined to the entertainment industry.

Yes, but also as a politician too! They take gobs of money from lobbyist and special interest groups. That is why you see politicians stepping down from their seats....the money they will be giving up!
