The third base coach will DEFINITELY be let go!! That was a HUGE momentum changer and baseball is all about momentum. I believe that the next inning has a completely different feel to it and maybe that 2 run shot doesn't happen. Of course we'll never know but you best believe that management is gonna look at it like that.

It was a bad decision but he's normally a very good 2rd base coach. Runners don't get thrown out much at the plate with him there. He's also very devoted to the Indians organization(stayed there over a manager job)so I doubt he'll be fired.

I think the Indians 3rd base coach will be fired!! That was a big mistake on his part.

It shouldn't come down to that. There were bigger mistakes made. Like Martinez not running out that play off of Matsuzaka's glove, the missed grounders by Peralta, the bad pitching of Sabathia and Carmona, or the fact that they couldn't really get any offense going after game 4.

I know that if the Indians would have lost by only one point, The Nolte would've tracked down that base coach and skinned him alive. Since they were annihilated by a huge margin, it doesn't really matter.
I'm sooo freakin' bummed out this morning. I was really rooting for my Indians.

That was a tough call. It was hard to say how that ball was going to bounce in the corner. The final score shows that it wouldn't have mattered anyway. I don't think anyone in cleveland gets fired.

No way. At that point in the game, he may have been playing it safe, but the ball did take a wild bounce. They didn't lose BY THAT ONE POTENTIAL RUN. They got blown out! and they blew two other games before.

They obviously can fire him but it's not his fault in any way, that run would have had no bearing on the outcome,Carmona and CC are the ones who should shoulder the blame.

These aren't the Yankees, y'know. Indians' management is smarter than that. One decision didn't lose this series. The blame has to go to awful starting pitching from Cleve's top three in the series.
Go ROCKIES!

That was awful. Even Lofton looked back at him like "what the hell did you stop me for?!" Obviously it wouldn't have made much of a difference, but you take what you can get. Very stupid move.
