I love the eagles, but they aren't very good, is that showing pride of your team?

Of course, even though you know the head coach is killing your team and the coach that they fired the previous year only lost two games.

Yes, always have, always will. I lived through a lot of 2 and 3 win seasons with the Colts, but it was just great that we finally had an NFL team in Indy.
As for the Eagles, they should have won that game yesterday. That was a sad ending. My husband was so bummed out, being a diehard Eagles fan. The Eagles have a lot of classy players, so you should always be proud of the way they play and the examples they set for the rest of the league.

Bulldog, we know you do. But I will stick with Kentucky "Football" forever. Now the Basketball team I'm just now liking. I'm glad that Tubby is gone. But the football team is front pages now, I can't be any happier. I've tough through the 2002 Bluegrass Miricule and the 2003 4th Quater, 20 point Florida come back against the Cats. I be a UK fan from 1990- Death. Go Cats!

of course, I'm an eagles fan too so I feel your pain. Your just being honest when you say they aren't very good. no reason to stop rooting for them though. It's a tough year so just try to look at the positives! GO EAGLES!!!
And besides there are plenty of teams to root for: like anyone that plays the cowboys, redskins, or giants!

Definitely! The Bears are having a terrible season but I'm still sticking with them! Go Bears! To show pride for your team, you have to stick with them no matter how bad they may be doing.

Well I do as a fan of Buffalo
and so do the other fans of teams like MIami they have a strong following especially in the UK.
i wouldnt support someone else just because they were losing...ie put up with losing for 3 years ive not been into american football for long

I think so... as hard as it is, you've gotta stick by your team. I'm a Colts fan and up until last year it was tough seeing the early exits from the playoffs each year. Although, it wasn't near as tough as the Jack Tredeau days of 3-13 seasons.

Yes, I am a die hard Eagles fan. I know they aren't very good right now, but I will always support them. A good fan won't hop on another team's bandwagon whenever their team isn't doing so well.

Yea, my team is the dolphins. They have sucked pretty much every year for the past 5 years, but i still stick by them and watch the games no matter how painful the outcome.

If they're doing bad I will stop making ridiculous statements like they're going to win the national championship or Super Bowl, but I'll still watch them and talk week-to-week smack against fans of the teams they play.

I went to 6 home games for my team in a year that they went 1-15.
