the granny's (crispy, tart,thinnish-skin) USED to do it for me ,
but the Macoun's are my favoritest kind, now .
they're sweet and tart and crispy and have a nice thin ,doesn't get stuck in your teeth ,skin. they work for baking and eating plain and they are fun to go picking off of trees ,IF you like that sort of thing, .. which i do . ; )
