I have led a very sheltered life but have heard of people taking contracts out on folk they don`t get on with. I believe that this is rather scary and wonder if these cleaning companies are in the same line of business. Can anyone reassure me about this? Thanking you in anticipation!

Yes! They come in and snuff you out with a bit of Mr.Muscle if you don't clear your dettol immediately. They set about you until you kick the bucket. They then call their friends in the van to come round and mop up!

Mmm. Understand how difficult it is. An automatic rifle could be concealed as a feather duster. The automatic floor polisher may decimate civilization as we know it.
I don't work but you have now reassured me that house work can be life threatening. Therefore i can spend more time on "Answers".
Thank you EnigmaticJ. Bet you never thought this question would be such a life changing experience for some of us!

Having seen the way some of them wield around various appliances and other gadgets your right to be worried - and be VERY VERY careful of anyone holding a duster and a polish can - these things are lethal!

I do not work, but have contract cleaners for my home - the 'Merry Maids'. I love them dearly - lol. One time, I fell asleep as they were happily cleaning away, and they covered me with a blanket :-) That's tender loving care.

You are right to be worried.
If I were you I would always wear a smile, oh and leave any valuables at home. Including photo's of the kids. Or is it gypsies that steal children, you had better check on that one.

No, we had them for a while and they not only did a poor job but there was always stuff missing, even from the fridge! We have in house people again and no problems.

Are you trying to relate the tow? Why?

We have contract cleaners that clean, not cleanse, as they are supposed to.
