Hiya I just created an account so I just wanted to say Hi.
But my question is.. In half term my year group have to do a world war 2 project, Im doing a poster and we have to interview a friend or family member who was alive in the time of the war, I have everything sorted of who Im going to interview and Im going to do my aspect of world war 2 to be Evacuation, I was just wondering if anybody had any creative Ideas of what I could include on my poster or a question for my interview or any personal experiences.. basically anything I would fine useful. Thanks! :)

Thanks for your answers and links! I have found out interesting things. My friends Grandad went off to fight the day that the war ended so she has something interesting! It was hard to choose the best answer dont take it personally!

It would take some work and some searching, but if you could find a person who was a part of the German or Japanese army, then you would bring a completely different perspective to the whole thing. My father used to work with a man who was in the Japanese military and was basically preparing for a suicide mission when the war ended.

Who cares about real details nowadays? Just write that Russia is an evil country, all Russians are zombies and every trouble in the world is because of Russia. That would be exactly what American education requires from you.
