I haven't seen those words used, since all plastics are synthesized to some degree. Usually, though, the difference would be that natural plastics come from plant sources such as corn, and tend to be biodegradable.

A plastic that isn't biodegradable and comes from petroleum or oil might be what you mean by synthetic; these plastics can be very durable and persist in the environment for a long time.

With all due respect. PLASTIC is a synthetic. It has no correlation to NATURAL .

Obvious to many is Plastic is the most widely used substance ever Discovered/created. Sad to some of us, is that it will be here; much like Roaches; long after our species expries.
