You will need to determine if the cpu "can" be changed. Most laptops do not facilitate exchanging the cpu in that it is hard soldered onto the board. You may need to take the computer into a repair shop to find out if the cpu is replaceable.

I would just leave it if I was you. You have to take the whole laptop apart to change it, and in my experience They are often soldered to the motherboard. Its not like a Desktop where you just pop the side off and replace the CPU and Heatsink.
