oh YES.... a good friend once made that for me many years ago and it was delicious... unfortunately, i haven't been able to find pinto beans here, so cannot make it again ... but what good memories it holds ! !

Oh yeah I do with onions and sausage over rice yummy. That what I cook for dinner last Thursday night and my son love it and my daughter enjoy it but i was not her favorite nor her first choice for dinner.

Yes, and black beans and rice. Also try ricey peasy ( Italian - sweet peas and rice with butter and grated parmesan cheese).

Very much. My friend had a really good recipe for them that she took with her to the grave. I have tried to duplicate it but I am missing something!
