i own a laptop computer by hp and i have had nothing but trouble out of it. how many people out their own a laptop and have had hardly any trouble????

and to tell everyone i have been careful with my laptop its not my fault it has given me such troubles. you dont know me so dont start saying its my fault. (jerks)

I barely had any trouble with the 3 laptops I had in the last 5 years.

There are million of people who own a laptop or desktop computers, but it's usually the "USER" who causes issues to the computer. Human-being are a terrible group of creatures, we blame everything on other things other than our useless self. We need to own up to the problem that we causes and stop blaming other things. If you know how to use a computer properly, you wouldn’t be running into so much problems.

I have an HPdv5000 (relatively new, two disastrous overheats in first year) and an IBM A31 Thinkpad (4 years old, a real workhorse, been dropped and miraculously survived unhurt several times, not a single problem at all, still works like a champ in all respects, deserves extreme respect!)

Perhaps you have a bad hardware component that requires replacement. If it is new, then take it to Service and explain the problems it has so they can troubleshoot the computer for hardware failure.
Like it or not, I tend to agree with #3, most computer problems have to do with inexperienced users. Try reading the manual's Setup and Troubleshooting sections to see if your problem is listed, or if you have forgotten to perform a required action.

i have a compaq (laptop) and i've had no trouble with it. well other than the one that i kind of caused.

i have a toshiba laptop and i haven't had any trouble with it since i got it. my parents also have a toshiba and haven't had any problems.
