Hit a man (a few times) who touched me in the wrong spot. I suspected he was gay, but didn't know for sure until he touched me where no man (straight) likes to be touched by another man. Problem was, we were both on active duty and he was my boss. I had just been selected for Sergeants Major and had a class date for the Academy. Of course I was relieved of duty until the investigation was complete. Then was given a choice of court martial or retirement. I was told that at my level and rank, I should have choose another method of dealing with him. They were right. So I retired. I would have never hit him if he had not of insisted so hard and touched me. Now I wish I would have kissed the SOB.

Now before the gay community starts to give me a bunch of thumbs down, I have nothing against gay folks as long as they leave their gayness to themselves. Don't be grabbing me and pushing your sexuality on me and we will get along just fine.

Started a fight with two guys (big ones) who were
being rude (very) to a friend of mine. Thing is....
my friend was more shocked than the guys. Doubt
that she's ever seen me that pissed-off. (Usually,
I'm the peace-maker from la-la land. "Can't we all
just get along?" type of thing.) But, when I saw the
tears welling up in her eyes, it was more than I
could take. Something about not giving them the
satisfaction of seeing her cry overwhelmed me.
You know what I mean?

Btw...
It took several people to pull me off of those creeps.
See, I'm not such a pansy, after all....... Ha!

This past August, I drove to Renfro Valley, Kentucky (8.5 hours away) to see Merle Haggard in concert. I left the husband and the kids at home and struck out all by myself!!! As luck would have it, I was able to meet him and spent an enormous amount of time with him that weekend. What an UNBELIEVABLE talent and an AWESOME man!!!!

I still can't believe I did that all by myself. (And neither can my family and friends).
