Who was Hitler and what was his role in the Third Reich?

Hey, I needed help with an English project, if anybody could help me I'd really appreciate it, I already have mainly who he was, but I need what his role was in the Third Reich.

Head of the Nazi German party during world war II , started in August 14, 1939 and collapsed in the spring of 1945.
Committed suicide , the other Nazi leaders went to trial, the Nuemberg trial, either hanged, suicide, and others wanted who escaped for the war crimes. He was responsible the extermination of 6 million Jews.
They caught up with one of the last them, escaped to Argentina, and another died there, only back in 1985 they exhumed ones bones for proof.

Even the crappiest school textbook would have the answer to this within a paragraph or 2. So... read a couple paragraphs (probably less reading than the answers to this question), and voila! But yeah... this is like one of the most obvious questions possible. If you don't know the Third Reich, you really don't know who Hitler was or what he did.

You have contradicted yourself my dear......If you know mainly who he was then you should have your answer to what his role in the Third Reich was. I think you just should buckle down and do the research. On a topic such as this your instructor will know if you have been lazy or diligent, trust me!
