Apart from the obvious, it can be used to help facilitate the insertion of a rectal thermometer to check an infant's temperature since this is far more accurate than skin checks and infants are unable to have their oral temperature taken. It can also be used as a lotion, worn under cotton gloves overnight or under cotton socks throughout the day.

Chapped lips, dry skin, keeping the chrome on your motorcycle from rusting up in the rain, and for a little extra lube in the sack.

I put some on my lips, heels and elbows at bed time. Keeps 'em soft! And, it's great for under your nose during cold season to keep the skin there from getting too chapped.

Put it on your tires and you can burn out easier...
But I don't see why you'd waste that much vaseline.. And it's probably considered as a form of littering.

well my fav use was when I worked for Cingular Wireless, this guy kept some on top of his computer and whenever something bad happened at work, like if we had mandatory overtime or something like that, he would take it and hold it up and announce "hey everyone, they company is trying to f*ck us again, lets get ready!" and of course it gave us all a great laugh! After a while you would see jars of it all over the building, it was spreading like wildfire!

A woman answers the door to a market researcher. "Good morning madam, I'm doing some research for Vaseline. Do you use it at all in your household?"
"Oh yes, all the time. It's very good for cuts, grazes and burns."
"Do you use it for anything else?"
"Like what?"
"Ahem.. err.. well.. during.. ahem.. sex."
"Oh, of course. Yes, I smear it on the bedroom doorknob to keep my husband out!"

Put it on door knobs for a practical joke. Put a lump the size of a pea on a cat's paw. He will lick it off and be able to pass hair balls more easily! lol Bet yer sorry you asked!

Put it on light bulbs to make them easier to install. It can help lubricate surfaces like a kitchen drawer that is difficult to open and close. Use it on anything you would use grease on.
