Many people advise me to start early. I hope for 2008, I can keep my promise. I make the same plans every year & never follow it based on setbacks. Every year, I make plans to save money & lose weight, but instead I find myself gaining more weight & spending more money. The reason people tell me to start before the new year is so I'll already be in the habit of my new routine.

No, but I might as well keep the same ones from this year since I really didn't accomplish any of them! I have the ones from this year posted on my bedroom mirror!

nlbvelir's New Years Resolutions for 2007:

1. Work Out Consistently. I didn't work out at all this year! What an abomination!

2. Stop Procrastinating. I think I procrastinated more this year than I did last year!

3. Eat Healthier. The only thing I did was go on a pop diet for six months(New Years Day to July 15)!

4. Read the Bible. I read my scripture book, but I have yet to read the bible!

5. Be mature as much as possible.(Only in public for #5) I had my share of petty moments this year!

6. Participate in marathons. My dumb @ss didn't participate in one marathon!

7. Educate myself more (read). I did read this year, but the books were more drama based verses being educational!

8. Bring my A game when going to job interviews. My lazy @ss only went to one job interview and only put in two applications for the entire year! I could crack the f*ck out of myself with a steel bat for that dumb sh*t!

9. To become more flexible (body wise). I have not done one thing to become more flexible! I hate to say it, but I'm lazy as f*ck!

10 Always stay positive. I can stay positive for others, but I still have a hard time being positive for myself!

I believe in taking small steps at a time, at any time of the year.
I am cutting back on smoking.
The other morning I spent 2 hours on answers and had smoked 6 cigarettes.
I emptied the ashtray, made a cup of tea and lit a cigarette, and it was two hours before I got up again.
As for the weight issues, you have to be tough on yourself and on your shopping list. Ask yourself is this good for me, cut down on the calories you consume, read the nutritional information on the backs of the packages you buy.

Honestly I hated the outsiders. You should read The Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth The Delirium trilogy by Lauren Oliver

losing weight is probably easier than saving money. Eating good foods and less rich foods could save you money too... set smaller goals... lose 2 pounds by___... save $__by ___. Your goals are vague, make them more specific, they will be easier to reach.
