First of all Congrats my son was born Oct 12.....I tore and had to have stitches....sometimes it burns when I pee to normally when urine is concentrated....I have the bottle from the hospital to spritz with. I would suggest spritzing or maybe even pouring warm water on yourself as you pee. Make sure your drinking plenty of fluids to. Then again if you are really unsure if this is normal see your Doctor just to be safe. My Doctor wants to see me at 2 weeks postpardum for a check up. Good luck and again congrats.

yeah its completely normal for it to sting and it will wear off. i recommend either taking a jug to the toilet with you and fill it with warm water and when you wee pour it so it mixed in with your wee and touches where your cuts are and that will stop it stinging as much or go and buy a few cheap flannels and soak them in warm water and hold it against you when you wee and that stops the stinging too. i know it doesnt sound too pleasant but believe me it works and its worth it.
good luck and congratulations on the birth.

Hi, 10 days isnt long, it is normal for you to still be sore. I found that when you go to the loo soak some cotton wool in salt water and squeeze it onto your bits as you pee, this helps relieve any stinging and also helps to keep you clean and heal well. Also as suggested above put salt in your bath, it really does work wonders . Good luck :)

If you had an episiotomy, yes it is normal for it to sting. Not sure what else could cause it. You may want to call the OBGYN just to be on the safe side. It could be the start of a yeast infection.

it skill issues have been stretched sufficient to reason floor cuts or abrasions yet no longer sufficient to type as tears or to choose sewing. I had some grazes following the delivery of my daughter yet additionally tore so necessary to be stitched. The grazes could be healed in a pair of weeks. Congratulations on your daughter.

I had a graze and it hurt for weeks. They sound insignificant but open up a lot of nerve endings, so causing pain.
Go to Boots and you can buy gel pads that you put in your pants and they really soothe and promote healing. Get some arnica while you are there too.
Congrats on your bubba!

try peeing in the bath with some warm water it will help dilute the pee and it wont sting!

yes this is normal. See your doctor if it keeps up though. They may have some advice for you on something to try.
I went through the same thing with birth number 1. It does go away though. Good Luck.
