When i piccked it back up i saw the bug that had kinda yellowish eyes and it looked like a grasshopper but it was kinda see-through. The color was a light green. it had 2 anteenes. Do u know what it is????I already asked my science teacher but he said he never heard of it. I was going to take it to school to show him but it died!

It's hard to know - it could have been something that lived in the water normally, or it could have been something that fell in and was drowning. Since it grabbed onto your stick, I suspect the latter, but who knows? I'm with the person who said take it in anyway for your science teacher to see. My first guess would be that it was a bush or tree cricket of some kind, but that's purely a guess based on the lttle bit of information available.

You didn't say where you live, but if it was living in the water, I'm going to guess that it might have been a water scorpion.

These insects aren't really scorpions - they are true bugs, related to giant water bugs, water striders and backswimmers.
