I have a 1 gig flash which has been troubling me everyday. When I copy files to the flash, the files are seen. But when I disconnect the flash and reconnect it, no information is seen in the flash. When I look at the capacity, I realise that some of the space is occupied by the files I copied to it.
I have formatted the flash many times, but the problem continues. Also, the writing speed is too slow. What should I do to fix the problem.

Are you using the Windows "Safely disconnect USB Device" icon in the corner near the clock ? If not, this could explain the loss of data. Some drives deal with unexåected disconnection better than others, but it's a good idea to ALWAYS use this option.

Failing that, new drive time.
