If I were you I would get it checked out at the doctors or something to make sure,
But yes.. You could of possibly torn a muscle, rest it and it should get better. You may want to take some painkillers if it hurts :)

had you torn a muscle, you would likely be unable to move your arm at all. I suspect you have just bruised yourself, use ice to the area for twenty minutes every hour for 24 to 48 hours then alternate with heat for another 48 hours, then slowly begin to work your arm to regain range of motion.

it happened to me during a soccer match 5 weeks ago. i was told i had a torn rotator cuff. i was in a sling for a week and have gotten movement back through exercise but it is still week and sore. i would suggest going to a doctor but you should be fine in a few months

i think u might have either puled a muscle or u tore a ligament in your shoulder so u should def go to the doctor
