Stop talking to him/her and ignoring them, or try to beat them somewhat?

I'm the ignoring type. Silence is golden. Why not let the other person be in the dark about what you're thinking? This is also less stressful.

First, I try never to let anger be the end result of anything because it's like a termite, it destroys what it's in (being me/you) so that won't work. Secondly, being angry is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die. I have found if you pray for the person you are mad at, it changes your entire outlook. Talk to the person, calmly, reasonably and assume any part you contributed to the situation (if any).
Go to the person, take 2 forks and both parties can enjoy a serving of crow and humble pie. wow a meat AND a dessert! without the calories :)

If you are responsible to this person, you can't ignore them either. The object is to agree to disagree about the subject in conflict and carry on.

Beating them usually results in charges.

when you get mad at someone the best thing to do is control yourself. and by that i mean, you shut up and count 1 to 10 to help clear your mind, because if you keep on rebutting you might say things you don't mean to say.

if you can't stand it then walk out. it will give you and whoever you're in fight with a better time to think.

depends who it is and what it is that makes them mad. All of your responses are rather immature.

You let them know that you are mad at them, and that because you are mad at them at "x", you won't or will do "y", but y being related to x. And you try to resolve it, look at the large picture ( as in what is it really as a whole in a relationship and do I think it's enough to ruin our relationship?) and then move on.

Scoff, shake my head, and go somewhere to cool off. It's not worth the time yelling or beating them, although it's a nice stress reliever.

I say how I'm feeling, then I don't talk to them for about an hour. By then I forget what it was I was mad about and go along my merry way.

It's a gift I have....LOL

When you ignore someone it gets them so much better than anything else.

Well, i won't stop talking to them it all depends on what are they taking about. But sometimes i don't take it on them sometimes that person has to get it off their chest. But first I would want them to explain it to me.
