I just want to know how many people really still use those rubber shower mats in their tubs or showers??..I stopped using them because no matter what brand i bought they would get full of MILDEW and that skeeves me so no more rubber mats for me just plain old clean tub and towel on the outside door..Do you use a mildew free shower mat???

I don't need them at my house... but I remember I went over a friends house and they told me to place the mat on the tub of the floor, but I ended up forgetting to do it and I almost slip right on my face, I could've died with my but sticking up, how sad would that be... so I guess some people have slippery bathtubs that require those mats...

I try using them but even they slip around in my tub! Not sure what the deal is but i'm 8 months pregnant and have almost fallen getting out of the shower quite a few times! Never had a problem w/ mildew though! I always pull mine up and throw it over the side of the tub after a shower.

I have used a rubber shower mat for years and it doesn't get mildew. The key is to remove the mat after every shower and shake the water off, then drape it somewhere where it can air dry.

I do, but in the "kids" bathtub. Sometimes, they just like to take a shower and I want to be extra careful. I use those "ducky" individual stickers.

You can try scrubbing with baking soda and a little water with a brush (basically same stuff as oxy clean). Dry in the sun.

I use one, but only to stop my dogs slipping around when they have a bath or shower.
