I heard it this morning on a classic rock station in Connecticut (95.1 FM). I must know who plays it. It was a great song and I love real R&B but I have nothing in my collection.

It's called The Sky Is Crying. it was originally done by Elmore James & has been covered by Clapton & Stevie Ray Vaughn.

This is Clapton's version of it:

The sky is cryin',
look at the tears roll down the street
The sky is cryin',
look at the tears roll down the street
I been lookin' for my baby,
yeah, an' I wonder where can she be

I saw my baby early one mornin',
an' she was walkin' on down the street
I saw my baby early one mornin',
an' she was walkin' on down the street
You know it hurt me so bad, yeah,
it made my poor heart skip a beat

I got a bad feelin',
my baby don't love me no more
I got a real bad, bad feelin',
my baby don't love me no more
You know the sky is cryin',
yeah, the tears rollin' down my nose

well you should open your world to some old R&B and some Blues. You might be surprised at the music, its great!!. Sounds like the song you want is an old blues tune "The Sky Is Crying" by Elmore James and covered by many like Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn, all which are good covers.
