Hi Louise,
I would not call myself houseproud, but I cannot stand a lot of clutter, a messy kitchen, or untidy gardens.
So I guess that I am someone that just likes a clean tidy environment at home, without becoming mad about it all.

I am very house proud, I have to have everything just right, even if it's a mess, it's a tidy mess. I think the reason I am like this is because of how I was raised, my mother was a very tidy person, and so was her mother, so it maybe hereditary, I don't know, my older sister is like this too!

My house is comfortable. I have all that I need to make it a home. It is not flashy, not a museum either where everything is on display and you are afraid to touch 'em, but tastefully furnished and decorated with Arte- facts from the countries my husband visits on tours.
Every morning I tidy up with my maid's help but in the evenings it is somewhat disarrayed when everyone is home but I don't mind much. It is as a home should be...

It's not messy, but it's dusty. There's only three of us and a tiny baby. We keep things picked up and put away and wash our own dishes as we go through the day. I make the bed, and do what little straightening up there is to do every morning. I sweep and dust every week to two weeks, and do heavy cleaning once a year. My house is comfortable and not cluttered, but it's certainly not sparkly clean!!

I am very house proud, I think I am that way because my mum wasn't house proud at all and I would dread it if anyone called at the door.

Very organised, very neat, symmetrical... but a bit messy from having a puppy who gets very muddle paws!! But yeah, things are always neat, tidy and organise... why? Because I am one of the anally retentive type of people!! Everything in its place and a place for everything.... organise organise organise... to the point of symmetrically folding carrier bags! Hum.... well OK, maybe I should keep that one to myself?

Messy - life is too short to keep cleaning up. I dust one day - next day ts all back. What a waste of time. I'm not dirty - I do clean but not obsessively xx

messy!
And i'm not ashame dof it. I knwo someone who has a mental disorder and her house is REALLY tidy. So I like to think it works like this, over-tidy house = unhealthy cluttered mind. Messy = clear mind!
