If you suspect a uti then you need to get a urinalysis done so that they can culture it and find out what antibiotic will get rid of it fastest because different bacterias react to different antibiotics. Now personally, when I get one (which I do about 3 times a year with my medical condition) I will usually drink nothing but cranberry juice and water for several days. I only go to the doctor if it continues to get worse after a couple of days.

You need antibiotics to get rid of it. In the future if you feel one starting drink lots of water and cranberry juice. If it has not gone too far it will usually stop it.

It's probably just cystitis, a really common urinary tract infection usually caused from wiping toilet paper back to front rather than front to back. Doctor will prescribe antibiotics.

You will need to get your urine checked and then an antibiotic prescribed for it to go away.
