what is the difference between Posses and posseses? when it is used?

Are we talking about posses, like the plural of posse? Like the sheriff rounds up a posse to go get the bad guys in a cowboy movie? Several sheriffs would round up several posses. (Pronounced POSS-ees.)

And possesses, as in owns? Like the devil possesses the girl in the movie the Exorcist? (Pronounced puh-ZESS-es.)

You possess, he possesses...all in the pronoun.
