I think that those who exhibit savagery and violence were raised to have no respect for civilization. Those of us who value law and order, education, friendships, society, and the things society affords us do not, as a rule, act with savagery. When we do get violent, it is often just because we let our anger run wild--an act which is not logical but often makes us feel better.

Humans are different in this aspect because of our awareness of it. Savagery and violence is an accumulation and end product of your environment, the people that are in you life, that events that you have experienced. Those aspects are possible in everyone if they succumb to their will to survive. It also depends on where you live too.

Yes. Do you think anything short of savagery and violence would survive this planet? For an example I give you planet earth. Can energy be obtained any other way? Man is a third level energy form, he must obtain this energy from a distillate that must be destroyed, killed.

The last time I felt violent was when a hanger kept getting caught on other hangers in my closet and I got so frustrated I yanked them ALL to the closet floor and then had to pick them all back up! Your question is an interesting one, though, and although I suppose everyone could be violent if the occasion arose, I am not a violent person in general, and it would take quite a LOT to make me violent against other people.

I don't agree. I have never had a violent episode or even a violent thought. I don't wish bad on people. I've always had the theory of what goes around comes around and karma is a bi**h.

I agree.... however, as human beings we are also highly intellectual and have complex emotions. Just because we feel savage and violent, we should have the intelligence to realise that these aren't very productive feelings and/or actions.
