SInce beginning this drug my first period lasted 5 weeks, Dr gave me drugs to stop it, took them for 10 days then it all began again, on to week three right now. I have had an ultrasound, waiting for the results, Have lots of clots can this drug cause this?

Drug is called GEMFIBROZIL

I suppose you need to take this drug to lower your cholesterol, to my knowledge it shouldn't affect your menstrual cycle. Is it the only change you've made lately? I would keep checking in with your doc. & have some tests run to make sure nothing else is going on in your body.
