There isn't one.
Since the height of lorries varies between 10 feet and 16 feet, it's impossible to give a minimum height that 'most' can get under..
However, the minimum height of an unmarked bridge (i.e. no height indicator) must be 16 feet 6 inches.

May sound like a daft question but it is not. As said there are many height marked bridges because some lorries would not get under them. Some years ago I drove round the M42 south of Birmingham to see a car transporter loaded with Land Rovers stuck under a bridge. The Land Rover at the front of the top deck was heavily reshaped. I wondered how he could have got so far as all the bridges seemed the same until I realised that this was the first bridge on the motorway since leaving the Land Rover production plant.

I don't know the details of how some evade the searches and checks that are made - I guess if Immigration knew, they wouldn't get through. I can only say that people make the most terrible and terrifying journeys, and even if it is agreed that they can't remain in UK, they should be treated with humanity. Some time in the future people will look back on these stories with a mixture of horror at the nature of the world that prompts such desperate struggle, and admiration for those that struggled and made good in spite of the obstacles put in front of them.

It's considered to be 16'6", because under that height they're not required to have warning signs.
