For the past few months i have this tingly, sharp feeling in the back of my leg. Mostly in the left. This seems to happen mostly when I sit down or lay down. I can hardly sleep now because it is getting worse. Is it time to go to the hospital? I read somewhere it could be the veigns (place were the blood runs through).

Why not stop by a doctor's office before going to the hospital?

But yes you should seek medical attention before a POSSIBLE clot moves into your heart or brain.

Go to the doctor! You might get a lot of misdiagnosis first or it might just be something simple. I have MG and it started with my leg first. Normal it starts with the eyes or throat first but you never know. The throat came later on and the eye thing one doctor said was my alergies. Not to scare you but it took them 5+ yrs to finally find out what it really was. So don't just give up like I did and make yourself much worse off.

Veins. Yes you have poor blood circulation. You need to exercise and you need to eat well balanced meals, and plenty of water and avoid constipation. Take deep breaths and hold it and then slowly breath out, repeat this about ten times, when ever you have the time. Fill your self with oxygen and this will help relieve the pain. Take care of your health.Do yoga. Buy a yoga disc and exercise at home,or buy a yoga book and do the simple exercises at home.

Try flexing the foot of the painful leg just once. If it's painful, go to the doctor immediately.

It is time to see the Dr. You could have any number of things going on here. Only your Dr. can tell you for sure what your problem is after running tests.
