Blacks, or as most PC people refer to them as... "African-Americans" (which is a stupid term in my opinion)
have more opportunity today then every before. Do you ever hear Black Canadians called "Afro-Canadians?" Hmmmm....
BET shows how biased they are but that should come as no surprise since they are the "Black Entertainment TV" channel.
Racism exists in modern times and this is the purist form of it.
The white kid that got beat half to death has forgiven his attackers.
What does Al Sharpton have to say about that?

you answerers above me made no mention of the nooses, the shotgun incident, the beer bottle incident or the "i'll take your life away with a stroke of a pen" comment. and lucky you are racist and i bet you're very unattractive too lol. justin barker shouldb't have gotten beaten up but don't use that to judge black people. you racist folks get real brave on the internet when your identities are hidden. yaou guys are wimps. face the blacks like men and women and say it to their faces. how do you know that blacks don't have it bad when you're not one. can i say gay americans are not discriminated against heavily (which they are by the way) if i am straight. i am not one of them so i'll never what it feels like. only they can whether or not they think it's unfair. take a stand for humanity and stop being bigots and racists.

I'm not sure I even want to know. The one kid who actually DID time is a thug. A total thug. I'll bet a million pesos that he ends up back in the can for something violent soon after his fifteen minutes ends.

BET is the Black Entertainment network so it is so surprising that they would interview a black? I would have liked to see what he had to say for himself as nobody else has interviewed him. There ARE two sides to every story and sometimes we only hear one and form conclusions from that. And sometimes we have been wrong. Anyone remember those rugby players who DIDN'T rape that dancer?

VERY good question. Because they wanted ratings, unfortunately. And focusing on the victim would not have played well with their viewers apparently.
