Because the liberal media hesitates to report any of the good they do. Condi Rice is all over the place doing great things, but the media puts her on the back page as an after thought.

A paradox of diplomacy is that you don't need diplomats in friendly countries, and you have none with enemy countries.
Maybe politicians steal the credit that is actually due to their diplomats?
