Liberals who created Political Correctness are not ashamed, and never appear to be about anything, that I have seen. They use LIES to deceive uneducated adults, and manipulate our children who cannot defend themselves against them. An example, in some schools in America, kindergarten children are being taught gay sex-education, to accept it, even against a parents wishes. (If one watches any news, they will know this is true, especially those parents who have to live with it.)
Affirmative Action, in my opinion was the 1st thing on the list of Political Correctness. Where are we now because of it? In many areas kids are dropping out of school at a faster rate than ever before, almost 50% in some cities.
People should feel threatened by Political Correctness. It got 2 border patrol agents locked up in prison for doing their job, has allowed American citizens to be killed by illegals, and set free, a jury never being allowed to know they are illegal, and jobs taken, not just from those who rightfully should have them, but made it so, even with a college education, it is very hard to get a job equivilent to your education.
Parents feel threatened by entities like Child Protection Agency, when they try and raise their children in how they believe.
Gay parades, and rights are being forced upon small government agencies, like the San Diego Police Dept., and Fire Dept. to participate in Gay city activities, or an individual is under the threat of being fired.....it goes on, and on, and on......

Political Correctness is killing America, and our freedom! I guess Libs don't care about that, though. They want Socialist Hellary for president!

Political correctness has taken over where common sense left off!! Everything is offensive to someone and it comes to the point of ridiculousness when one person gets offended and the laws have to change so no one feels bad. I say, "grow a backbone and get over it! Everything in life is not fair and you may get offended but, so what! Deal with it. Stop making every issue an issue of major consequence! That is not real life. Grow up and move on! (and not as in Moveon.org!!) I am sick and tired of people leaning so far over backwards to please other people that they can't get up again!! I will not do it. Return to the times of sanity and stop complaining and whining about everything you see that could make you slightly uncomfortable. Make your best quality, the one of being fair and with the ability to overlook minor offenses. You will not die if every view is not suiting you exactly!! Political correctness should be banished from our world. Life was so much easier without the constant whining!

I'm going to go out on a limb and state I have no problem with political correctness. I think the theory is sound: to speak and hold thoughts responsibly and to try to not stereotype or generalize. What's wrong with that? The problem is, on an instance by instance basis determining what is or isn't PC is subjective. Some people might find a statement non-PC, while others do. I think we should try to follow it, but don't ever let anyone tell you that this or that is not PC.

To me, PC is the extension of the first amendment that was omitted. Now bring on the thumbs down.

Political correctness is used by liberals to censor people's words, & now even thoughts. It's used so people don't say or do things that might be considered offensive to certain groups. Political correctness is the belief system that tells people that Islam is the religion of peace. There are only 3 things that are ok to openly dislike because of political correctness White males, Christians, & the United States.

Political correctness is out of hand, you have to worry in your average business interactions if your thoughts of kindness to others will be seen as a violation of law if you say Merry Christmas to a client around the holidays or bless you if a colleague sneezes.

It is more like a virus. When first infected , the victim becomes confused about his place in the world, the values that have made him who he is. As the disease progresses doubts creep into his mind, doubts about proven truths, and the history of his own country. This leads the sufferer to stagnate, and digress. Inaction takes place, and in it's advance stages causes a rejection of his own culture in favor of the inferior beliefs of the primitives. If left unchecked, cultural suicide is the result, accompanied by guilt and remorse for the things that once made him pride full. Yes by all means fight this scourge of modern man.

But look at all the positive things that come from being politically correct. Take England for instance, they're so PC that the UK is now a paradise. It's like heaven what with all the pandering and mandatory PC . . .

Political Correctness is the "2 wrongs" make a right, strategy, used by liberals to impose their version of McCarthyism, towards society.

Political correctness is the media genuflecting to the liberal cause; if you read between the lines, the real message is justification for wrong doing. PC is the defining ingredient of liberal corruption.

It's way beyond making an insensitive or racial (hate based) remark; it goes beyond normal right and wrong- it really means if it benefits the liberal cause it is correct and if it harms the liberal cause it's incorrect.

This is why it's OK to criticize republicans for wrong doing and not imposing the same criticism for liberals.

To me, political correctness is nothing more than empowering people who choose to do so, to publicly admonish others for not saying something in the most appropriate way. It is tantamount to having a police force of English teachers out there correcting you, in public, every time you use the word "who" instead of "whom". Even more insidious though because they may only choose to publicly correct you if what you are saying is not in line with their political agenda. I think most conservatives have had it with political correctness, I know I have.
