It would be impossible to say which place is most photographed in the world. Many places lay claim to this distinction, such as: Paris, the Taj Mahal, Walt Disney World, Niagara Falls and the Acropolis in Greece to name a few.
What can be said for certain is that the sun is the most photographed object (sunsets & sunrises) in the world.

about 85% of all photos taken are of 3 to 5 people in a room. Family and friends are the most photographed subject in the world. As for a single object the Eiffel Tower is believed to be the most photographed icon. but there is no way of knowing for sure. In 1988 pre digital it was estimated that there were 6 billion frames of film exposed round the world every day. The increase since then would be astounding !!
