On a laptop, the graphic card is integrated into the system board. You can not change that video card without changing the whole system board. Normally there is only one system board that fits the specific laptop you are dealing with, so you normally can not change to a different system board.

They do make video cards that insert into the PC card slot or run by USB. But I have not been impressed with the performance of any of those I have tested. (There may be some good ones, but I have not found them).

You are probably stuck with the video card (and other integrated components) that is already in your laptop.

Laptops are usually a non-upgradeable type of computer. With exceptions to the RAM and Hard Drive. They have special gaming laptops out there that support desktop graphics card upgrades; but 9/10 your standard laptops' graphics are not upgradeable.

I Guess it will be pretty hard to change only your display card in Laptops. It is easy in only desktops.
