People often say I'm special. Very special. I go to a special school for people with special problems. Do people call you something to make you feel wanted?

When I was in prison everyone called me white bread and biotch...I always felt wanted, especially after lights out

I've heard many things from different people,but their words are hollow.I only felt special once,when someone I loved told me "I would like to put you in a box made of glass and keep you in my room,so that I see you every time I enter".That was the only time I believed someone,because I was trully special to him as much as he was to me.

I say things to make myself feel special all the time.
"Your mom was wrong. You're not a whore."
"You have the perfect ratio of chocolate malt powder to milk when you make your 2am Ovaltine"
"Don't let the look on his face fool you. You're an amazing lover."
And the I sit in an empty bathtub and sing "The Wind Beneath My Wings" to myself, until I feel better, or until the EMTs break the door down, whichever comes first.
