Being a little person, it probably does not take a lot of alcohol for Matt to become drunk. He probably is not an alcoholic, but he should definitely start getting a designated driver if he goes out drinking, because he is setting a bad example for his kids.

Matthew James Roloff (b. October 7, 1961 in California), is an author, actor, farmer, inventor, and businessman, best known for participating, with his family, in the reality television program Little People, Big World seen on TLC. The show features the Roloffs' daily life. Roloff is a little person, as is his wife Amy and one of their four children, Zachary. On June 19, 2007, Roloff was arrested by Washington County Sheriff's Deputy Allen Pastori and cited on charges of driving under the influence, refusing a roadside sobriety test and failing to drive within a lane. He pleaded not guilty. A trial began on January 8, 2008 and ended two days later. After determining that members of the jury had improperly researched legal questions on the internet, the Judge, with the defendant's approval, acquitted Roloff on the principal charge but held him responsible on related civil infractions for improper lane use and refusal to take a breathalyzer, which under Oregon law will result in a three year suspension of his drivers license. The arrest was the subject of the season opener of Little People, Big World on March 3, 2008 and its conclusion on March 10, 2008.

I think he might have a drinking problem! Actually, a lot of "little people" suffer from alcohol addiction! I read about his DUI arrest, and I wish it would be on their TLC show- I mean if it's a "reality show" let's show their real life! Can you imagine how ticked off his wife was? She is very bit**y to begin with!!

Are you serious! I wouldn't think that of him, but I guess dealing with his demanding wife and everything else in his life he must need something to take the edge off. He shouldn't drive though. I think he should get on his mule and drink on his farm, maybe at the Men's Crisis Center he built. Isn't that what it was supposed to be for?

Yes I heard that also and was shocked! They sure do hide it well on the show as I have never seen him take as much as a drink on there. Rehab seems as though it would help unless of course now he thinks he is a celebrity and then it would not help at all LOL! I really like them and wish them the best!

I was shocked when I heard this! Actually I agree with alot of previous answers. I don't think he needs rehab but he needs to get a dd when he decides to go drinking. Thats a demon he needs to deal with.

If you are not married to an alcoholic, then you don't know. She has every right to be bi***y, having to deal with all of his issues with alcohol on top of it!
