When I log on to the net my window is small and I have to click the "restore up" button to maximize it. I cannot for the life of me figure out where the setting option is to change this. I want my window to be full screen as soon as I log on.

If you are using IE7, on the tool bar on the right side you will see "Page" with the arrow next to it, then "Tools" next to it, with a downward small arrow click the little arrow next to it and it gives you a whole menu and there you will see "Full Screen" in the middle section of the menu, also F11 on your keyboard should do it.
(It has nothing to do with the tools next to Favorites and Help which is on the left side).

Press F11 and the window will go to full screen. If you close it while it's in full screen, any following windows should also be full screen. This only works in some older versions of IE, by the way; IE 8 and Firefox don't make new windows full screen.

Right-click on your Browser Icon and choose Properties. Then, choose Open: Maximized from the drop-down list.

There are prbably a few solutions for this one. But I would try a right click on any shortcut to your browser and select properties, then you should be able to select "start maximised'.
You may need to change this for all icons that can start your browser.
