I have to admit I'm very disturbed again by our republican canidates for President. They alwys run on the right and govern from the left..I CAN'T understand WHY! Yes we want lower taxes, LESS government, Less regulation....yet when our leaders win they seem to govern from the left. Our recent governor ran on a very conserative platform....here in Ohio I couldn't tell if he was a Dem or a Republican....of course since he chose to govern from the left he lost the hearts and minds of the people.

Ronald Reagan.......where are you now?????

We need LEADERS!!!!

anyone else out there feeling this?

Ron Paul has Never voted to raise taxes. NEVER. He is the only candidate not run by bigbusiness and special intrest groups. Check out his ongoing work on education and helping The working people of our country. The Family Education Freedom Act would give$ to parents not schools , The Tax Free Tip Act would make all tips untaxable, Hes against trade unions that hurt the american work force, hes tough on immigration. Hes against Same Sex marriage but also voted against a bill that would Define Federally Marriage as something between a man and a woman because he doesnt believe the Federal government should run your life. Hes the candidate no one in washington wants you to vote for because he goes against the status quo. Dont believe me just do a quick search. Dont believe the Ron Paul Haters either most of them have been misinformed, One guy actually thought hes for government run health care when that is cleary not the case. I guess he got his info from fox news who (as anyone could see last night) is clearly biased against him.

A past Governor of Virginia, I won't mention any names, once claimed that "if elected, I will put an end to yearly vehicle taxes", after being elected, he admitted that statement was to gain him votes, and that he actually never had any plans of doing any such thing. He was Republican, and no longer serves as the Governor.
Bush, who is Republican, and running under their so-called programs, has enlarged the Government as much as any Democrat before him, yet he and the rest of the Republicans would never admit to such an abomination of the Republican platform.

I agree. Politicians say what they think will get themselves the most votes. When they win, they do what they have to do to get contributions for the reelection campaign.

Both parties are guilty.
