For many reasons using any other method - felling, ringmarking etc etc are not options. What I'm looking for is a strong root killer.

Please be aware that in these times you may get a heavy fine for doing this - trees add value to the land, keep the soil from eroding (this means your house won't slide down a hill) as well as add in cooling shade and slowing down winds.

Contact the city and find out what the laws are - you may need a license to remove the trees! Contact a few tree removers - doing it wrong can rip up gas lines, power lines, water lines, etc as it falls down (pulling up the roots). It may also fall on your house or people passing by - who can then sue you.

Be aware of all the legal ramifications before doing something like this.

I suggest a charity pop concert for 'saving the rainforests'. At the end of it, so much damage will have been caused that your local town council will demolish your trees as unsafe. Invite Yoko Ono.

Copper nails in the trunk near the bottom help, but maybe drill a few large hold and put root out in. It will overfeed and poison them.

if the trees belong to you, do as you will.... if they don't, you're looking to be found out and punished.... danged shame to kill trees to park cars.... somethng akin to "They paved Paradise and put up a parking lot"......
